In life there are three important things to remember;
Love with all you've got, Laugh with every breath, and Dress like your life is a runway.

Support, see, do, donate - Billabong Design for Humanity a celebration to benefit Invisible Children, which are children that are forced into becoming soldiers in Africa. The money raised at the Design for Humanity goes towards the children in order to help pay for scholarships, mentors, school contruction and economic training for long term success. This is truly a great cause and great way to show your support for the young soldiers in Africa. Check out the link below and hope you can make it!

Blake Lively in Vogue.

Blake Lively; Gossip Girl, Fashionista, young, chic, many adjectives come to mind when Blake Lively is in full focus. Lively appears on the cover of June's Vogue issue. The sultry sirene has impeccable style and sure knows how to rock the latest fashions.

In the June 2010 issue, blakes photoshoot is set on the beaches of California along side long time professional surfer Rob Machado. Blake who has attempted to surf once when younger says "I carried the board out, sideways to the surf. I was trying to crawl on the board when I was caught by a wave. I just went spinning and cracked my nose on the hard-packed sand. I relaxed for a second, went to the top, and then the board hit me and I ended up with a bloody nose."

The infamous Gossip Girl star sure can pull of the surfer girl vibe, I'll give her credit.

Check out June's issue of Vogue!!

As well as Romona Keveza

SJP Fashion Icon

So for those of you who recognize fashion and adore it, as I do, you probably appreciate the style and beauty of fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker!

And as you may or may not know, the 2010 Met Costume Institute Gala took place a few days ago and SJP showed up with a classic and fun Halston gown.

Others that made their fashion statement (in a good way) were, Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad, Blake Lively in Marchesa, Diana Kruger in Calvin and Anne Hathaway in Valentino. Enjoy the gorg gowns <3

Oh baby its magic.

Seis de mayo!!! Wait...theres no holiday for that? Bummer. Oh well, on a better note! Today is a great Spring day and there is lots to do. 3 fashion sketches and 2 technical flats to be precise.

A great designer whom I have recently discovered; Bluemarine, has a great Spring 2010 RTW collection. Here are a few of the designs. Super hot!

Another designer I am fond of, whom I'm sure just about everyone has heard of, Victoria Beckhham. I saw a few of her pieces from Spring 2010 RTW and loved them. I respect her line because she truly designs for how she dresses, which I find similar to my designs. I wouldnt design something that I wouldnt wear and 99% of the time I do wear my own designs. Very cool.

Another great designer that I'm crushin on is Balmain! The Spring 2010 Ready To Wear collection is tres chic, and personally I'd like to take each and every item home with me!

Ta-Ta!

What a good morning it will be.

I woke up feeling great, watched a short video that inspired me to listen to great girly music and do a little maintenace on myself. Push-ups, crunches, whatever else I'm inspired to do! Now its to inspire you! These designers; Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez whom make up Proenza Schouler are really doing some cool things with their collections. I love how their inspiration bounces off from one another and truly think they're great! This is from they're Spring 2010 runway show. Check it out ;)

Intro to reality.

I started this blog as a creative outlet for myself and for others to hear my ideas, likes, dislikes, views, or whatever it is I write about. I want to be able to have my own space to feel free to say anything without censoring it for anyone or anything and would love feedback of all shapes and forms.

So lets start from the beginning, I'm a 22 year fashion designer and I go to FIDM in downtown Los Angeles and am really amazed by all of the talent that goes into and has come out of FIDM. Although it is a costly school, I think of it this way - any school your going to attend you'll end up paying for in the long run, whether it be financially speaking or in the aspect of, what experience and knowledge you learned from the institution. This is coming from a person who has yet to be in the fashion industry, but having previous life experiences and have gone to other colleges, I've learned the optimism you must have in the world these days!

On another note, I have always been a fashionista, starting from when I began to dress myself as a kid. I was a rad lil mama! So far L.A. has been a great experience and I'm really ready to get out there and start designing or whatever my job will be as a noob in the industry!

hope you get a little spice and tickle out of this blog!

Morgan Maxi Dress

My first project of the year, non-school related. Have had the gray cotton suit fabric for months and finally got inspiried with the idea to make a floor length maxi dress. The dress isnt finished yet but will post better pictures with it all finished.

Ace of Base-Dont Turn Around

Lady GaGa - Alejandro

Lady Gaga less original?

So I was just trying on the semi-finished maxi dress that I'm creating, and was jammin out to a oh-so-cool TV hit list channel and Lady Gaga's 'Alejandro' comes on...to my ear I know I've heard this song before and thought the exact thing. She ripped off Ace of Base's song Don't Turn Around. Ha! Way to stay original ay?

Love her regardless, shes one sexy bitch, but come on gaga-loo, stay original so we can respect your music more!

What do you think?
